“I’ve been an Escapades rep for four years, and I’ve loved every minute of it. I decided to apply after I’d been travelling around the Far East. Since then, I’ve worked in Mallorca, Gran Canaria and Benidorm and Kos.
“I am busy for five and a half days a week. My tasks include customer transfers to and from the airport, booking customers on our fantastic events, as they arrive into the hotels, holding lively Introduction meetings, accompanying customers on our busy and hectic evening events programme such as Beach BBQ, Bar Crawl, and club nights.
“The hours are long here in Mallorca and targets are high as it is a big gateway to work, but it is an extremely rewarding job to do. You can make loads of friends, not just with the team you work with but also with the customers you meet and the other tour operators here on the island. You’re never bored with this job!
“The best part of the job is the team I work with. We always make the most of our free time by going to the beach together, or just chilling with a DVD and a takeaway. We also get to see some of the best artists in the music industry playing here, such as Tinie Tempah, Dizzee Rascal and loads more fantastic bands.
“If you love meeting new people and have the skills to be a team player and a great communicator, then you’ll love being an Escapades Rep. Every day is so different. It can be challenging but you will have some wonderful memories.”
